China’s new Ambassador to Türkiye, Jiang Xuebin, assumes office

Mr. Jiang Xuebin, he newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to Türkiye, has officially begun his tenure, marking the start of his diplomatic mission to strengthen ties between China and Türkiye.

In a post shared on X, Ambassador Xuebin expressed his enthusiasm for the role. “Hello, Türkiye! I am deeply honored to be appointed as Chinese Ambassador to Türkiye,” he wrote.

Highlighting the spirit of collaboration, Xuebin referred to proverbs from both nations.

“As an old Turkish saying goes, ‘A candle never loses any of its light while lighting up another candle.’

In China, we say, ‘The fire burns high if more people add wood to it.’”

He continued, “I look forward to having in-depth exchanges and cooperation with people from all sectors in Türkiye to strive for even greater achievements in the strategic cooperative relations between the two countries.”

We extend a warm welcome to Mr. Jiang Xuebin, the newly appointed Ambassador of China to Türkiye.
