Who Is Murat Ülker?
Born in Istanbul in 1959, Murat Ülker is a second-generation manager of the Ülker family. He joined Yıldız Holding in 1984 and served as Chairman of the Holding’s Board of Directors between 2000 and 2020. He currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors of Yıldız Holding, and also continues as Chairman of the Board of Pladis and Godiva Chocolatier. According to Forbes Türkiye, with a fortune of $5.5 billion, Ülker is Turkey’s richest businessperson, and he is also known for his interest in modern art and calligraphy.
